Apple and Raspberry Crumble

Croustade aux pommes et framboises
Preparation : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Rendement : 4 servings of 2/3 cup each (175ml)

Nutritional Facts : Per serving: 220 calories, 5 grams of fibre

Filling Ingredients

​

4-5 apples, washed and peeled

24  raspberries, frozen Cinnamon and

nutmeg to taste

4 tsp. / 20 ml maple syrup

 

Crumble mix

​

4 tbs. / 60 ml precooked oatmeal

2 tbs. / 30 ml wholewheat flour

2 tbs. / 30 ml butter

2 tbs. / 30 ml brown sugar

1 tbs. / 15 ml Chia seeds, ground

​

Directions

​

  • Slice apples and divide them between 4 small oven-safe bowls.

  • In each serving add 6 raspberries and1 tsp. of maple syrup, then sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

  • In another bowl, mix oatmeal, wholewheat flour, brown sugar and butter. Gently mix with your fingers to obtain a granular homogenous mixture.

  • Divide the crumble mix equally between the fruit bowls.  

  • Bake at 350°F for a half-hour or until the crust is lightly golden.
